We celebrated an early Thanksgiving at home since Nana and Big Daddy were here for the weekend. Grace really enjoyed the drumstick!
I know I have said this before, but Grace is an
incredible little girl. At
18 months old, she has such a personality. She loves to hide; empty baskets, boxes, and the kitchen cabinets; "read" her books; listen to music;"talk" her own language; "clean" the house like Mommy; and be silly to get a laugh out of anyone who is around. She can also be very serious, observing her surroundings and new people until she is sure everything is okay and she can relax and be herself. Lately, Grace has been saying a lot of things that sound pretty close to words. We hear "Uh-oh" all the time. We have heard "ha" for
hot, and what sounds like "apple", thank you", "Daddy", and "milk". She walks without a care, runs, climbs, and loves to be upside down! She doesn't stop too often, but when she does, cuddling on the couch is one of our favorite things to do!

Grace is surely a "personality" She is funny when she hides. She backs into the wall and closes her eyes (everyone can see her) but she thinks she is hiding. "Grace is learning to fly too". It was so funny to watch Big Daddy flying and Grace following him.

Gee Grace, what fun you must have had eating your first drumstick. And, how grand to have shared it with Nana and Big Daddy. Wish I could have been there.
Happy Thanksgiving, Grace! I miss you and your mommy so much. Hope you had fun with Nana and Big Daddy. I can't wait to see you! Be sure to tell your mommy how thankful you are for her - I know that I am very thankful for her, too!
