"Lasterday" is a new word Grace made up this weekend when she was telling us a story about what happened the day before. We couldn't stop laughing and then agreed that it was actually a pretty good word!

So,
lasterday Grace and I decided to start decorating the front of our house for fall and Halloween. We put out our scarecrow witch and hung 12 ghosts in a tree to join some pumpkins, a bale of hay, a cornstalk and a burgundy mum Kyle bought us.

Grace had a good time making the ghosts inside and then telling me exactly where each one should perch in our tree.

It was a good way to get some fresh air - even though it was my least favorite weather - cold, gray, and damp! We came right inside when we were done and made the first hot chocolate of the season....
Mmmmmm.

Great Ghost making and hanging. Nana and Ba will see them next week. Ba loved the posing picture with the pumpkins. See you soon.
I like that word "Lasterday"! Uncle Mickey likes it too. Take lots of pictures of the decorations.
