Today made the third year in a row that we attended the Holiday Walk in Hudson. They have a shopping area with small shops and restaurants and several times per year the merchants host events to bring people in. I like this holiday because it is a low-key way to see Santa and they have free horse and carriage rides around the town.
They also have carolers, a live Nativity with reindeer, and other costumed characters like Christopher Pop-In-Kins and Frosty the Snowman. The weather was great today for walking around - a little windy but warm for December 4th!
This year, Santa was at the Wild Bird Center so Grace enjoyed the wind chimes and other outdoor items while she waited her turn to talk to him.
I like seeing Santa here because he takes his time with each child. He talked to Grace about her stuffed doll, what she wants to be when she grows up (which right now is a conductor in the orchestra and a teacher), and what she would like for Christmas. He was in no hurry even though there was a pretty long line behind us.

Wow, Santa really liked talking to Grace because he must know she is one of the "nice" kids. The coat looks pretty and the family picture was great. Just 22 days and your guys will be in the "sun" Maybe?? Found a good wind chime store; checking it out before you come.
Nana is right...You look so pretty in your new coat, and I love the picture with Mommy and Daddy...What fun to talk to Santa; he seems to really listen to what you were saying.
