Being adopted is just how Grace's life began. It is important but it doesn't define who she is. Instead, she is just a little girl growing up like most of her friends - with a family who loves and cherishes her. The fact that she was born in another country and has a birth mother who made a plan for her is just one small part of what I hope will be a long and happy life. I love that she came into my life and I couldn't love her any more.
I love her smile, her laughter, her dimples, and when she asks questions to figure out the world around her....and about 1,000 other things that make my girl so special.

I can't believe Grace is going to be six years old soon. She is so excited about it and the plans we have to celebrate with her friends at her birthday party. But with all the good things that come with growing up we are also losing some of the "baby" things she does and says that are so cute....like the way she used to say these words (and by "used to" I mean like two days ago!)
- hospital = hos-a-pull
- hand sanitizer = hanna-ba-tizer
I had to write them down so I don't forget....

Grace is part of a huge family that loves her! Everyday is Family Day! Love the drawings on the window. They seen really high up, but I guess not...Grace is just getting taller everyday. I see the teeth are coming in too!
Ba wants a window picture with Nana and Ba too!
Grace, I love your family picture. Daisy is pulling Daddy! Does she do that all the time? I think you should do a picture with Nana and Ba...that would really please them a lot.
Happy Gotcha Day!
