Silly Bandz

Did you know these shaped rubber bands are the craze right now with kids? Everywhere we go, I see kids of all ages wearing them on their wrists. Grace is no exception. Usually, I limit her to a couple on each wrist, but when she wanted to choose her own she spread them all out on the table, counted them (her newest funny number word is "eleventeen"), and then put them ALL on!

Grace, I love those bands, too. I saw them in NY and wanted to buy them for you, but I thought they where for Big Girls..oops, Nana forgot "You are a Big Girl"

Those things drove me crazy this year! My students would take them off and trade them/play with them in class. It was getting to a point where our principal almost banned them, but once teachers started taking them away if students had them off of their wrists during class, they got the message and it wasn't as big of a deal anymore. So Grace, keep all eleventeen of them on your wrists when you're at school. :-)

Aunt Phyl loves all the pretty colors; just think of all the nice things you could wear them with.
